Public opening awaits validation of all three connectors and the remaining operational checks. The terms below describe the trial and subscription journey.
Who operates the service
AlpenShield is operated by David Cunha, an independent operator trading as AlpenData, rue de la Blancherie 26, 1022 Chavannes-Renens, Switzerland. For requests about your data: contact@alpendata.ch.
What the service uses
With your permission, AlpenShield analyses newly synced messages and relevant previous exchanges to recognise your contacts. Address-book access is optional. Email bodies are processed temporarily and are not retained in the database. Attachments are not stored.
What is retained
The service retains account data, senders, subjects limited to 160 characters, dates, necessary message and folder references, rules, classifications, corrections and action logs. Mailbox credentials are encrypted on the server. AlpenShield does not retain payment card numbers.
Services involved
Hosting uses Infomaniak in Switzerland. AlpenData’s email provider delivers account emails. Your email provider is involved when you connect a mailbox. Stripe is involved if you choose a paid subscription. External AI remains disabled. Support has no interface for reading your email bodies.
Retention and closure
Without a subscription after the trial, local history remains available for 30 days, then syncing stops. The operator reviews outstanding actions before erasing this history and closing access to the workspace. Billing or incident evidence and identities used in other workspaces are handled separately. Disconnecting a mailbox removes its credentials from the active database and stops syncing; it does not erase history or backups. Infomaniak backup and technical log retention periods still need confirmation before public opening.
Use of Google data
Google data is used only to recognise your relationships, analyse messages, and apply or undo the sorting you request. It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train general-purpose models. AlpenShield’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your requests
Email contact@alpendata.ch to request access, correction or deletion of your data, or closure of your workspace. Your identity and organisation role are checked before any action. Messages held by your email provider remain under your control.
